Monumental cock-up on my part today…. apparently it’s NOT a bank holiday here – in spite of checking if today was one in Scotland as well as England – it IS one in SOME parts of Scotland….but just not here – GAHHH!!!!!! So yes – the kids should have been at school/nursery today. Pants.

The Mophead & Dustbunny had a sleepover at Grandma & Grandad’s last night so the house seems eerily quiet….
I feel I should be having a wild party or something!
Just before Christmas I carelessly lost my house and car keys – however…
On Sunday… I found them again!
We were out for birthday lunch at a nice local eaterie, (which we had also been to about the same time as my keys vanished…) Now I had called the place not long afterward, when it became clear that they weren’t going to be found in any of the usual places that I normally dump my keys. They said they would check and call back – which they didn’t do.
Anyway the last time I was there I forgot to ask again – however – this time I did remember! Yay! They had been there all the time – all snug in their safe!
There are currently four very giggly girlies in the house all playing Mario Kart on the Wii at the moment. Well – when I say ‘playing’ I mean that they have spent the last half hour all wanting to be Baby Princess Peach…
I’m very frightened and may need rescuing….

We’ve all been there…
Today I took Dustbunny’s new pink scooter with me when I went to pick her up from Nursery.
She was really excited as it seems to be the craze at the moment. (Im getting very good at avoiding collisions with hundreds of scooting kids now!)
After Nursery, it’s a bit quieter, so I thought I’d let her scoot home too. She did pretty well – only managed to fall off three times!
She loved it though!
