Today is the last day of the School holidays.
Obviously, all the uniforms are all freshely washed and ready to go, new shoes bought, everything all sorted and organised…
I plan to spend the rest of the day writing frenzied blog posts about how totally and completely unorganised I am and pondering upon how this could possibly be the case. I mean I’ve only had 6 weeks to get everything sorted!
Last night saw the return of the Tooth Fairy… only two nights after her last visit!!!
Poor little Mophead has hardly got any teeth left!
I might have to start calling her Gummy instead!
My beatiful new bag has just arrived!!!
Ahhhhhh…… *sighs in contentment*

When it comes to originality with excuses for getting out of doing anything – I must nominate Dustbunny.
Today’s little gem is as follows…
“Mummy – I can’t tidy up because my feet will get smelly!” she sobs, her face stricken at the thought.
Inspired.
But not good enough!
On Friday, Dustbunny had her second appointment at the Audiology department to assess her hearing.
Her last visit was about 3 months ago and the results were inconclusive. She did have a bit of a cold then and didn’t seem to be hearing the low level sounds. Also, I wasn’t entirely convinced she understood what she had to do.
This time however, she passed with flying colours.
Up until now, there was some question as to whether she actually heard us asking her to tidy her toys up. Now however….
…we know she can!
A fairly quiet week in the world of Magz, so I’ll just add a quick recap of what we’ve been up to recently.
I’ll start by re-posting the last couple of posts, because it would be a shame to lose them when I close down the old Typad account…

This last weekend has been very busy! Went to see Peter, Erinn and Ailsa on Saturday! Was great to see them all again! One day we even make it over to Ohio to return the visit!
Then on Sunday it was down to Kirriemuir for our friend’s little girl’s birthday party. Spent most of Monday morning recovering from said birthday party!
Today, I was helping out with the Nursery Picnic. A half hour bus journey to a lovely little park. Was really good fun! All the little one’s had a great time!

We went on our first ever camping trip earlier this week!
We didn’t venture too far, just in case we didn’t take keenly to the ‘outdoor life’ and only planned to stay for one night. However, we had a really great time and ended up staying an extra night!
For anyone who has been following my blog these past few years, you’ll all know that it’s gone through many different forms!
Hopefully I’ll now be settling here for the forseeable future!
