{December 19, 2008} Starting the Day with a Bang!
There’s nothing quite like a nice early morning explosion to get you awake of a morn!
This morning was no exception when I wandered downstairs in my usual bleary eyed semi-awake state. Switching on the kitchen light, one of the large spotlights right above the table exploded shattering glass everywhere!
Thankfully the light switch in on the outside of the room and no one was in there at the time.
{December 14, 2008} The Yearly Crisis…
Once again, having promised myself (and everyone else) that I’m going to be completely organised this Christmas, here I am once again running around in a blind panic with nothing done at all….
As usual though, we seemed to have been dogged with round upon endless round of bugs, colds and fevers again. Between all of us, I don’t think we’ve had one single week for the last 2 months without one of us coming down with something or other!
So, I’m just off now to dig out some more Lemsip and try to get my Christmas Card list in order… or maybe I’ll just do that tomorrow…
{November 25, 2008} Finally! A New Post!
Oh dear – I see the last post I did here was back in August! Oops! Well, doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun? Or being Broadbandless! Yes a chunk of that time was taken up with a wilderness of not being able to get online much – however, finally, after two months of endless, mindnumbing calls to Call Centres, a new phone number and a £116 reconnection fee… here I am again!
